The CAPP (Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers) Statistical Handbook presents a historical summary of the petroleum industry’s progress, summarizing detailed statistical information concisely in one publication.

With applied data scraping I was able to extract related information on Net Cash Expenditures for the Canadian Petroleum Industry from 1947-2010. Using my favorite rapid-fire Business Intelligence tool; Tableau Software! this is what I came up with…

Québec polygon files in Tableau

A must have, useful, files for anyone doing some data analysis and exploration in Tableau on the province of Québec.

Using Quantum GIS and Joe Mako’s VBScript QGIS to Polygon I was able to create the following files for all of the Regional county municipality and Administrative regions of the province of Québec that you can download below:

Municipalité régionale de comté du Québec – MRC
qgis_quebec_mrc_attributes.txt
qgis_quebec_mrc_polygons.txt

Région administrative du Québec
